JAKARTA - PT Superkrane Mitra Utama Tbk (SKRN) will buy heavy equipment (cranes) in responding to the request on infrastructure projects in 2020. Therefore, the company plans to allocate Rp 150 billion for capital expenditure next year.

Edy Gunawin, Corporate Secretary of PT Superkrane Mitra Utama Tbk (SKRN) said that with the addition of heavy equipment, it would increase the company's bargaining position in the market. " In the improvement of our heavy equipment, we will make some purchase of new heavy equipment, and to sell the old equipment as it is replaced with the new one," he said.

Along with the plan to purchase heavy equipment, the company keeps on prioritising the operational security to maintain the reputation in the eyes of consumers. This purchase of new equipment still prioritised on operational safety standards, he said, which would affect the performance of the company in the future.

In addition, SKRN will maintain profit growth by carrying out cost efficiency in logistics, as a number of heavy equipment always in the move depending on the project location, which is in accordance to the consumer's demand. (LK/W)
