JAKARTA - PT Visi Telekomunikasi Infrastruktur Tbk (GOLD) will allocate the remaining capital expenditure in 2019 of about Rp 79 billion in addition to this year's capital expenditure. The company plans to use the capital expenditure to build a telecommunication micro tower (microcell pole).

Alexandra Yoya Dinarwati, Director of PT Visi Telekomunikasi Infrastruktur Tbk (GOLD) said that the remainder of capital expenditure in 2019 was Rp 79 billion from a budget of Rp 200 billion. "The remaining capital expenditure will be used for additional Capex in 2020," he said.

According to him, his party will use the entire capital expenditure budget to build micro telecommunication towers (MCP) in 2020. The reason behind the MCP development plan is because a number of telecommunications operators no longer use towers with microwave radio, but switching to optical fiber instead. (LK/W)
