JAKARTA - PT Arwana Citramulia Tbk (ARNA), one of the ceramic manufacture companies, is able to increase production utilization up to 98% in 2019. The optimisation on machine utilization used by ARNA exceeds the range of national utilization rate at 65%-70%.

Edy Suyanto, Chief Operations Officer of PT Arwana Citramulia Tbk (ARNA) said that the production realization figures in 2019 was able to increase around 8% in square meters (m2) compared to 2018. "About the products, the good sales performance and the optimal production utilization is certainly fully supported as the company is so careful in analysing the trends of ceramic in market; to pick which one that is in demand or much more desired by consumers up to date," said he.

In 2019, ARNA released 69 new types with different types of colors. The total products launched in 2019 were about 194 SKUs, bringing in total to 1,419 new products or designs.

At present, Plant I in Tangerang has a production capacity at 3.78 million m2 per year; Plant II in Tangerang has 19.50 million m2 per year; Plant III in Gresik has 18.09 million m2 of production capacity per year; Plant IV in Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra has around 12.50 million m2 per year; and the production capacity of Plant VI in Mojokerto, East Java is to be increased from 8 million m2 per year, to reach 11 million m2 per year.
