JAKARTA - Little Hotelier, an accommodation service management platform, said that the average stay
period in hotel guests was about two days, increasing along with the ease of the Community Activity
Restrictions (PPKM) policy.
Tander R. Lowongan, Regional Sales Manager for Little Hotelier, said that the stay period of hotel guests
in Indonesia tended to be short every year, but the number of local hotel bookings had exceeded the
condition in 2019. "More than 50% of hotel bookings are from foreign tourists,"he said, in the Little
Hotlier Press Conference last week (14/3).
This upward trend can be seen from a number of accommodation websites or international travel agent
sites in January 2023, since the pandemic in 2020. National travel has also shown an increase based on
data of local travel agents, including Traveloka, Pegipegi, and Tiket.com, although still not in fully
recover.
In addition, hotel sites attracts more potential customers, which can be seen from direct bookings in
hotels' websites. The order cancellation rate also tends to be stable in 2022. (LK/W)
