JAKARTA - PT Gojek Indonesia (Gojek) is strengthening cooperation with PT Surganya Motor Indonesia, the network manager of the Planet Ban, for the operational efficiency of Gojek driver partners.

Paul Bastian, VP Driver Strategy of Gojek, said that the collaboration with Planet Ban facilitated partner drivers to get operational savings. "Our focus is, of course, for driver-partners in motorbikes operation on the road. So, oil and tires automatically are able to be changed frequently," he said.

On the other hand, Deden Hendra Shakti, Chief Operation Officer (COF) of Planet Ban, conveyed that this cooperation was expanding the reach of Gojek drivers. "Especially from the extraordinary turnover (vehicle mobility, red), especially during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021," he said.

According to him, Gojek driver partners were very reliable during the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, his party encourages benefits in the form of special prices for driver-partners in Gojek application.
