BANDUNG – The Ministry of Manpower is rallying chief executive officers (CEOs) of public companies in the effort to lower unemployment rates in Indonesia. This was conveyed by Yassierli, Minister of Manpower, during his key speech at Top CEO Indonesia Awards 2024 held in Bandung, November 15, 2024.
“We will try to urge esteemed ladies and gentlemen to collaborate in solving high unemployment rates,” said the Minister.
It is mentioned that the Ministry of Manpower is currently managing 300 vocation centres and work-training centres that could generate highly skilled employees.
“I believe and wish—this is such an incredible effort, and my wish is that one of these top CEOS will not only looking inward, but also outward-looking, establishing an ecosystem so that we may advance together,” Yassierli said. (LK/ZH)
