JAKARTA - An individual investor called Yeti Sopandi purchased 303.04 million shares of PT Esta Multi Usaha Tbk (ESTA) on Tuesday, September 5. Yeti now owns 12.49% of the property firm, which specialises in hotels and shophouses. The purchases went through two brokerage firms: PT Artha Sekuritas Indonesia and PT Wanteg Sekuritas. Interestingly, Wanteg Sekuritas also facilitated the sale of 291.17 million ESTA shares by its majority shareholder, PT Esta Utama Corpora, whose ownership fell from 77.31% to 65.31%.

PT MNC Asia Holding Tbk added 265.93 million shares from one of its subsidiaries, PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP), in another share purchase. MNC Kapital is a part of MNC Group that works in the financial services industry. Besides that, two individuals were seen adding shares: Hasim Sutiono, who bought 50 million shares of digital payment services company PT Cashlez Worldwide Indonesia Tbk (CASH), and Hansen Jap, who bought 2.89 million shares of disposable glove manufacturer PT Haloni Jane Tbk (HALO). This time, share buybacks remained an obvious option for two issuers: department store PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk (RALS) with 2.5 million shares and property developer PT Jaya Real Property Tbk (JRPT) with 1.85 million.

GOTO Peopleverse Fund, on the other hand, was the first to divest by selling 26.60 million shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), a digital ecosystem company. PT Esa Gemilang also sold 14.03 million shares of coal producer PT Black Diamond Resources Tbk (COAL), while an investor by the name of Deputy Attorney General on Special Criminal Affairs released 598,400 shares of health service issuer PT Royal Prima Tbk (PRIM).
