JAKARTA - Two significant investors purchased and sold shares of mining and energy consultancy issuer PT Sumber Energi Andalan Tbk (ITMA) on Thursday, February 20, according to the list of changes in share ownership above 5% of the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

The decision to expand shareholding from 6.4% to 7.43% was made by PT Majukarya Mandiri Indonesia, which purchased 10.30 million ITMA shares. PT Yuanta Sekuritas Indonesia and PT Dwidana Sakti Sekuritas assisted this investor. On the other hand, its shareholding decreased a bit from 7.52% to 7.37% as foreign investor Zurich Assets International Ltd sold 1.46 million ITMA shares. The investor used PT Danatama Makmur Sekuritas to complete the transaction.

Additionally, PT Goldfive Investment Capital, the BSML's controller, bought 8.5 million shares of PT Bintang Samudera Mandiri Lines Tbk (BSML). The controller’s stakes in this logistics and transportation company increased to 45.73%.

After that, Siauw Yunus Subandi purchased 5 million shares of PT Graha Andrasentra Propertindo Tbk, giving him 5.31% ownership of this operator of Jungle Series amusement parks. Through PT Sucor Sekuritas, he purchased the shares.

Then, 763,500 of its shares were purchased by PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk (ROTI), a bread manufacturer. Currently, this issuer owns 509.53 million ROTI shares, or around 8.24%. After that, PT Ekadharma Inti Perkasa purchased 465,300 shares of PT Ekadharma International Tbk (EKAD), a producer and distributor of cling wrap, adhesive tape, and aluminum foil. The controller now holds around 82.09% of EKAD shares.

This time, however, the selling of shares was started by international investors. 5.33 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) were released by HSBC-Fund SVS A/C Chengdong Investment Corp-Self. The investor now owned around 10.41% of the shares. Furthermore, 555,400 shares of PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk (APEX), a business that provides onshore and offshore drilling services for gas and oil, were released by HSBC Bank Plc. About 5.58% of this investor's shares remain. PT Bank HSBC Indonesia handled both of the aforementioned transactions.

Additionally, two controlling investors cut back on their holdings. With the remaining 52.27%, PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala released 3.41 million shares of PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA), a financial services company. Lastly, PT Infiniti Wahana sold 610,200 shares of the public transit issuer PT Steady Safe Tbk, with 40.84% shares remaining. (KD)
