IDX monitors surge in HAJJ and PGJO shares

JAKARTA – Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is monitoring the shares of PT Arsy Buana Travelindo Tbk (HAJJ) and PT Tourindo Guide Indonesia Tbk (PGJO) following a significant surge in their prices in recent days.
IDX has placed HAJJ shares under Unusual Market Activity (UMA) status due to a notable increase in share prices, while PGJO is being scrutinised for indications of irregular trading patterns.
Yulianto Aji Sadono, Head of Transaction Supervision Division at IDX, clarified that the UMA announcement does not necessarily indicate any violation of capital market regulations. However, the exchange will continue to monitor the trading patterns of HAJJ and PGJO shares to ensure compliance with regulations.
"In relation to the occurrence of UMA, we would like to inform that the Exchange is currently observing the developments in the trading patterns of HAJJ and PGJO shares," Yulianto stated in an official release on Monday (24/2).
As a risk mitigation measure, IDX urges investors to pay attention to the disclosures of the issuers, review corporate action plans, and carefully consider various factors before making investment decisions. (EF/ZH)
