Capital deficiency worsened, INTA’s loss shrank
JAKARTA – The revenue of PT Intraco Penta Tbk (INTA) improved in 2023, thus resulting in loss decrease. However, its capital deficiency continued to worsen throughout the year.
In the 2023 Financial Report quoted Monday (22/4), INTA’s revenue was seen arriving at IDR 1.08 trillion, soaring 63.58% higher from IDR 661.30 billion seen in 2022. Revenue surge was detected in sales of heavy equipment and its spare parts of IDR 996 billion, as well as in leasing and repairing services of IDR 82.83 billion and manufacture of IDR 2.94 billion.
Gross profit was recorded at IDR 228.89 billion, up 132.90% year-on-year (yoy) of IDR 98.27 billion. The gross profit margin also rose to 21.25%, higher than the gross profit margin in 2022 of 14.86%.
The increase of INTA’s revenue led to current year’s loss that decreased to IDR 58.38 billion from the previous loss of IDR 98.92 billion seen in 2022. The net loss attributed to the parent entity clocked up to IDR 39.90 billion, lower from IDR 87 billion in 2022.
Amidst its effort to improve its performance, it still reported capital deficiency of IDR 1.93 trillion, declining further from the capital deficiency in 2022 of IDR 1.86 trillion. Total liabilities and capital deficiency clocked up to IDR 2.47 trillion in 2023, also worsening from IDR 2.18 trillion recorded in 2022. (LK/ZH)
