Prabowo: Danantara will optimise and streamline SOEs

JAKARTA – President Prabowo Subianto expressed confidence that the Indonesian Investment Authority, Daya Anagata Nusantara (Danantara), will be a strategic and efficient solution for optimising the role of state-owned enterprises (SOEs).
"Danantara Indonesia is a strategic and efficient solution in optimising state-owned enterprises," said the President during the launch of Danantara Indonesia in Jakarta on Monday (24/2).
The President noted that Danantara will not only reinvest SOE dividends into industries that promote long-term growth but will also transform SOEs into world-class leaders in their respective sectors.
The complete structure of BPI Danantara is as follows:
- Advisory Board: Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (6th President of Indonesia) and Joko Widodo (7th President of Indonesia);
- Chairman of the Supervisory Board: Erick Thohir (Minister of State-Owned Enterprises) and Vice Chairman Muliaman D. Hadad;
- Members of Supervisory Board: Listyo Sigit Prabowo (Chief of National Police), ST Burhanuddin (Attorney General), and representatives from the Ministry of Finance, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK), the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), and the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (PPATK);
- Chief Executive Officer (CEO): Rosan Roeslani (Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM);
- Chief Operating Officer (COO): Dony Oskaria (Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises); and
- Chief Information Officer (CIO): Pandu Patria Sjahrir.
The formation of Danantara is based on the third amendment to Law Number 19 of 2003 concerning state-owned enterprises. (LK/ZH)
