Prabowo formalises BPI Danantara structure

JAKARTA – President Prabowo Subianto has signed several key regulations concerning the Indonesian Investment Authority, Badan Pengelola Investasi (BPI) Danantara, at the Presidential Palace today.
These regulations include Law No. 1 of 2025, amending Law No. 19 of 2003 on state-owned enterprises (SOEs). In addition, Government Regulation (PP) No. 10 of 2025 governs the organisation and governance of BPI Danantara.
"I have also signed Presidential Decree No. 30 of 2025 regarding the appointment of the supervisory board and executive body of Danantara," Prabowo announced, witnessed by several members of Danantara's supervisory and executive bodies.
Hasan Nasbi, head of the Presidential Communications Office, revealed that Rosan Perkasa Roeslani was appointed as Danantara's CEO, supported by Pandu Sjahrir and Dony Oskaria. "Dony will oversee operational holding, while Pandu will lead investment holding," Nasbi said following the launch of BPI Danantara earlier today.
For the supervisory board, SOE Minister Erick Thohir was appointed as chairman, with Muliaman Hadad as vice-chairman, and Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati as a member of the board.
Moreover, former presidents Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) and Joko Widodo (Jokowi) were named as advisers to Danantara. Religious organisations such as Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), Muhammadiyah, and the Indonesian Bishops' Conference (KWI) were also included as advisers. (KR/ZH)
