JAKARTA - Foreign investor JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., Singapore Branch is listed as a new investor in PT Esta Multi Usaha Tbk (ESTA) on the list of changes in share ownership above 5% of the Indonesia Stock Exchange as of Tuesday, February 25.

The foreign investor quickly acquired 16.4% of ESTA after buying 397.63 million shares of this property issuer through PT Bank HSBC Indonesia.

Then, PT Alamtri Resources Indonesia Tbk acquired 109 million more shares in PT Adaro Minerals Indonesia Tbk (ADMR). Through PT Ciptadana Sekuritas Asia, this controller secured 84.11% of the shares in the metallurgical coal company.

Through PT Stockbit Sekuritas Digital, Verah Wahyudi S. Wong also purchased 24.75 million shares of PT Remala Abadi Tbk (DATA), an internet service provider. Her stakes grew from 35% to 36.83%.

This time, PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk (ROTI) continues to hoard its shares by 1.65 million shares. Morgan Stanley And Co International Plc, a foreign investor, bought 877,100 more shares in a production company of PT MD Pictures Tbk (FILM).

Meanwhile, Agatha Nindya, an individual investor, made the biggest divestment this time. She sold 52.63 million shares of the information technology business PT Techno9 Indonesia Tbk (NINE). Her share fraction fell to 8.2% following the completion of this sale through PT Victoria Sekuritas Indonesia.

CGS International Securities Singapore Pte Ltd then sold 9.15 million shares of gold mining firm PT Wilton Makmur Indonesia Tbk (SQMI), after foreign investor HSBC-Fund SVS A/C Chengdong Investment Corp-Self had sold 16 million shares of coal mining business PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI).

Additionally, INV Management Pte Ltd sold 627,500 shares of PT ITSEC Asia Tbk (CYBR), a cybersecurity company.

Ultimately, PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala, the controller of PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA), sold around 2.37 million shares of the company. The remaining controlling stake in this financial services provider is 52.28%. (KD)
