JAKARTA – PT Wilmar Cahaya Indonesia Tbk (CEKA) saw its profit for the year soar by 111.58% in 2024 compared to 2023.

In the 2024 Financial Report published on Thursday (13/3), Erry Tjuatja, President Director of CEKA, announced that the company posted a profit for the year of IDR 324.94 billion, up from IDR 153.57 billion. This profit increase was driven by growth in both revenue and other income.

The company recorded revenue from contracts with customers amounting to IDR 8 trillion, a 26.27% year-on-year (yoy) increase from IDR 6.33 trillion. This revenue comprised domestic sales of IDR 7.78 trillion, up 27.89% from IDR 6.08 trillion, and export sales of IDR 217.79 billion, down 12.80% from IDR 249.78 billion.

Domestically, the products sold included Crude Palm Oil (CPO), generating IDR 4.19 trillion, up from IDR 3.65 trillion, followed by Palm Kernel at IDR 1.98 trillion, an increase from IDR 1.40 trillion; Flour at IDR 732.32 billion, rising from IDR 357.58 billion; and other sales at IDR 873.84 billion, up from IDR 669.05 billion.

In the export market, Palm Kernel products generated IDR 217.79 billion, down from IDR 239.29 billion, while CPO sales were non-existent, compared to IDR 10.48 billion in the previous year.

Meanwhile, the company’s gross profit margin was recorded at 6.83% in 2024, up from 5.44% in 2023. Operating profit reached IDR 390.983 billion, growing by 109.04% from IDR 187.02 billion, while profit before income tax surged 110.79% to IDR 412.74 billion from IDR 195.80 billion. (LK/ZH)
