JAKARTA – PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk (MTDL) recorded a net profit of IDR 739.8 billion in 2024, growing 13.7% year-on-year (yoy).

This growth aligns with MTDL’s revenue performance, which reached IDR 25 trillion in 2024, the highest in the company's history.

Susanto Djaja, President Director of MTDL, revealed that this achievement is the result of effective business strategies and synergies between the distribution and solutions & consulting business units. These two business lines, he said, continue to grow alongside the increasing demand for technology across various sectors.

“This is the result of smart, hard, and consistent work by the entire team within the company,” said Susanto in a written statement on Thursday (27/3).

Throughout 2024, Susanto mentioned that MTDL remained focused on operational efficiency and market expansion, especially in telecommunications, digital consulting, and AI-based solutions.

“This has allowed us to continue growing despite facing challenging market dynamics,” he added.

Telecommunications products (smartphones) were the largest contributor to MTDL’s distribution revenue in 2024, accounting for 21.7% of total revenue with 79.3% growth.

Meanwhile, the solutions and consulting business unit contributed IDR 6.2 trillion.

“MTDL plans to strengthen its position in the cybersecurity, data, and AI sectors through strategic partnerships with global technology companies,” said Susanto.

As the largest telecommunications and IT company in Indonesia, Susanto stated that MTDL has the most comprehensive product portfolio in the country, with 29 representative offices across 330 cities in Indonesia.
