BISI’s profit skyrocketed 88% in H1 2024

The profit of PT BISI Internasional Tbk (BISI) soared 88.25% year-on-year (yoy) in H1 2024 although its revenue sloped 4.62% yoy from the same period last year.
Three Vale Indonesia (INCO) investors reported decline in share portion

As a result of PT Vale Indonesia Tbk's (INCO) divestment, three of its largest investors saw a decrease in share portion but no change in the number of shares owned on Wednesday, July 3. The state-owned company PT Mineral Industri Indonesia (Persero), which owns 3.58 billion shares in this nickel mining company, saw its share percentage fell from 34.03% to 34%. Then, foreign investor Vale Canada Limited saw its share portion fall from 33.91% to 33.88% of the 3.57 billion shares it owned. Finally, Sumitomo Metal Mining Co., Ltd., another foreign investor with 1.21 billion shares, saw a decrease in share ownership from 11.5% to 11.48.
Profit soared, BISI to allocate dividend of IDR 240 billion

PT Bisi Internasional Tbk (BISI) is setting aside IDR 240 billion as dividend for the fiscal year 2023, up 17.64% from IDR 204 billion allocated in 2022.

On Thursday, May 2, a foreign investor named UBS AG Singapore Non-Treaty Omnibus Account - 2091144090 made a new investment in PT BISI International Tbk (BISI). The investor acquired 157.95 million shares of this agricultural issuer, giving it an immediate share ownership of 5.27%. The same investor was also observed purchasing 5.60 million additional shares in the agricultural firm PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (CPIN), resulting in a rise in the share percentage from 5.95 to 5.98%.
