JAKARTA - PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) is optimistic to obtain the project related to the Indonesian capital city relocation, DKI Jakarta, to Samarinda in East Kalimantan. This city relocation project will contribute to its revenues in many years ahead.
Tumiyana, President Director of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) stated that the company had allocated Rp 20 trillion of capital expenditure to develop its business. As with the budget allocation, the company is capable to run on any projects at the new capital city. “. WIKA, regarding the Capex spending, it is *Rp 20 trillion, and will grow from time to time. This means, when there are projects KPBU (Kerja Sama Pemerintah dan Badan Usaha/Government and Business Entity Cooperation), we have our capacity prepared,” he said.
By the end of this year, the company is optimistic to obtain profit about 50% higher than in the same period last year. In the first semester of 2019, the company reached its profit 61,8% higher than in the same period last year. (LK/W)
