JAKARTA - PT Bank Mega Tbk (MEGA) is optimistic to achieve a profit targeted at IDR 4.46 trillion in 2023. This target grows from IDR 4 trillion profit realized in 2022.

Kostaman Thayib, Main Director of PT Bank Mega Tbk (MEGA) said that this years target profit was in accordance with the Bank's Business Plan (RBB), which had been submitted to the Financial Services Authority (OJK). "The target for lending is IDR 76 trillion and Third Party Funds (DPK) IDR 109 trillion," he said at public expose, Jakarta.

According to him, this year's target credit is IDR 6 trillion higher than IDR 70 trillion in 2022. In 2022,distribution realization is 16% higher than in 2021 of IDR 61 trillion. The credit distribution compositionare 70% corporate loans, 16% joint financing, 9% consumer credit (credit card), and 5% commercial.

DPK grows by 4% from IDR 99 trillion in 2021 to IDR 103 trillion in 2022. The DPK structure is mostly inDeposits 73%, Savings (Saving Accounts) 14% and Current Accounts 13%. Thayib said that currently Bank Mega is in the top 16 position in terms of asset ownership by Rp 142 trillion. Meanwhile, in terms of profitability, Bank Mega is in seventh place, amounting to Rp. 4.1 trillion. (LK/W)
