JAKARTA - PT Yule Sekuritas Tbk (YULE) aims for business revenue to rebound by the end of 2024, similar to the levels seen in 2022. In 2023, the company"s revenue declined to Rp 49.91 billion from Rp 74.96 billion in 2022.

Agustinus Sumandar, Director of YULE, stated that the company has not yet set a specific revenue target for 2024 but aims to achieve a revenue figure akin to that of 2022. " For the securities broker, about Rp 2 billion, which is quite challenging but it"s our target," he said during a Public Expose in Jakarta on Friday (May 31).

He added that they will strive to reach this target through various strategies, including increasing online transaction clients via the YouTrade application. Despite recording a loss in the first half of 2024, he anticipates performance recovery in the third and fourth quarters of this year.

In 2023, the company generated business revenue of Rp 49.91 billion, down from Rp 74.95 billion in 2022. Revenue from securities brokerage activities was Rp 989.08 billion, a decrease from Rp 2.15 billion; dividend and interest income amounted to Rp 5.44 billion, down from Rp 10.15 billion; gains from securities trading were Rp 43.46 billion, down from Rp 62.64 billion; and income from underwriting activities totaled Rp 8.64 billion, down from Rp 9.12 billion.
